Ideia Space is an extracurricular program that connects classroom content to space and its technologies solving real-world problems.

To concept

To conceptualize the space mission students will be considered analysts and scientists, where they will discuss problems to be solved based on the knowledge of the technology to be built by them. This stage aims to engage the student in several areas of teaching.



To project

Mission planning is one of the most important steps in building a space mission. With this, physicists, mathematicians and engineers will carry out the calculations for the satellite designs, while scientists define how to work with the data collected by the satellite during the mission.



To build

This phase is when the engineers do the assembly, integration and testing of the satellite, the last phase before launching the satellite by the students. In this phase, there will be an integration between the different areas of knowledge to ensure that the parameters of the mission are in accordance with the concept and calculation.



To launch

In this phase, young professionals watch the launch of the satellite by drone and begin to collect data from the missions that will support the applications and improvements that will be proposed by young professionals. 



To apply

With the data collected, young professionals can act on different solutions based on the problem initially identified in the mission concept. The Ideia kit provides solutions to environmental, climatic, collective health, social, geographic and other problems.


Our technology is a 2P model, with a volume of 5x5x10cm, with the same functionality as an orbital satellite adapted for testing a satellite with PocketQube standard. This model is internationally recognized and is being developed in several countries as an alternative for higher education. In this small space the students will integrate all the systems of a real satellite to carry out the mission. As a result, students will receive one of the following modules:


Humidity, temperature, pressure, air quality and sunlight sensors.

Nossa metodologia é focada no desenvolvimento de competências da Base Nacional Comum Curricular utilizando elementos do aprendizagem baseada em projetos (PBL) e também Ciência, Tecnologia, Engenharia, Artes e Matemática (STEAM), de forma a incentivar o protagonismo ativo dos estudantes em seu próprio processo de aprendizagem, cada um deles assumirá uma função durante cada etapa da missão, como verdadeiros profissionais.
